Just wanted to say a big thank you for your help with our Cycle Challenge! We did it! I think it is fair to say that we stretched our limits on Friday. But, boy, was it worth it! Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the route - thank you!
— Joanne - Fuller's Brewery annual fundraising bike ride
The event you put on for us was absolutely fantastic and we have had so much positive feedback from colleagues who really enjoyed themselves. I thought the entire thing was extremely well thought through and executed, the venue and locations were brilliant. The mix of activity was spot on and the feedback from colleagues was that they loved being able to take part in things they’d never normally do.

You and the Greenrock team lay at the heart of the delivery for our event. The delivery concept and the detailed logistics worked effectively. The real bonus came in the way your team went about doing the job. Your team were constantly polite, kind, patient and supportive. Greenrock under your leadership proved to be a perfect partner for us. You had the experience combined with a calm, informal approach that suited us really well. We are left with colourful and rich memories to treasure. Thank you.
— Jonny - William Wates Foundation - Tour de Force
For me, this was to be a once in a lifetime gig, but it’s left me wanting more! I would confidently go on any trip arranged and lead by Greenrock (Joe and Laura). Guided by Laura’s amazingly detailed book, Joe’s professionalism and duty of care as the team leader during this ‘expedition’ was second to none. Thanks
— Andy - Into Thin Air, Indian Himalayas
I wanted to thank you and the team not only for the exceptional effort that you all put in whilst we were on the road but also for all the preparation, designing the route, logistics etc. It worked excellently. We had some fantastic cycling and you enabled us to have an amazing experience which will long stand out in the memory as a major achievement. Thank you.
— Russell - Tour de Force
I’d like to thank Joe and the team for making this happen, it was something I will never forget and one of my proudest achievements. It never felt like a tour, always an adventure.
— Stu - Into Thin Air, Indian Himalayas
I cannot praise Joe and Laura enough... if you decide to travel with Greenrock you will certainly be extremely well looked after. Thank you both for a wonderful trip of a lifetime.

Greenrock has provided our Year 9’s with a bespoke Three Peaks adventure for the last two summers. The staff have been professional and the pupils have thoroughly enjoyed both trips.
— Simon - Cheltenham College
This has undoubtedly been one of the best things I have ever done. Joe’s flawless organisation and fantastic support made the whole trip so enjoyable - I’m already looking forward to my next Greenrock adventure!”

In May 2017 we achieved our charity cycle challenge of a lifetime – an epic journey for 30 mixed ability cyclists from Celtic Park in Glasgow to the Estadio Nacional in Lisbon, Portugal to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Celtic football club winning the European Championship. There is no way we could have done this without the support of Greenrock.

The project was very much a labour of love and was two years in the planning. I recall that Joe offered to give us as much help as possible during the initial preparations, even if we did not use Greenrock. In the early stages it seemed as if our dream just wasn’t going to be possible, but Joe came up with lots of different ideas and strategies that would make our project a reality.

Once we had taken on Greenrock, Joe and his wife Laura spent a considerable amount of time making a professional recce of the entire route from Glasgow to Lisbon. Their focus was always on our safety and during the route finding they considered every challenge and danger to find the best possible route for us – even if it took them six days of research to finalise one day for our cyclists.

Joe looked after all of the event logistics including hotels, refreshment stops during each day and restaurants each night. Despite working to a restricted budget he found some amazing places to stay and we had some very enjoyable dinners and experiences.

Joe’s team had a huge skillset – every from catering to mechanical, medical, massage and fitness coaching. During the journey we faced a variety of challenges which Joe and his team took in their stride. They supported us throughout with patience and good humour flung in as well.

Our team of 30 reached the Estadio Nacional in Lisbon on the 25th May 2017, safely completing the cycling challenge of a lifetime for us. Our team paid for the costs of the trip including their return travel. After this they went on to raise £74,000 for three charities close to our hearts. We could not have done this without the support of Greenrock.
I look forward to working with Joe and the team on future adventures. If anyone wishes to hear more about our amazing experience working with Greenrock then please feel free to get in contact with myself.
