Night Rider Series
............................................................................................................
This series starts with Greenrock’s twist on a classic route: London to Paris. Ride solo, in a team of 2, 4, 6 or 8 with your own support crew. We leave from London late on Friday evening and, apart from the ferry crossing, ride through the night following Greenrock’s checkpointed route. The fastest teams will arrive in Paris on Saturday afternoon, the slowest late in the evening. After Sunday brunch and prize-giving everyone heads back to the UK.
Date
Fri 3 – Sun 5 June 2011
Duration
One weekend
Distance
300 miles approx
Costs
£320 (includes £100 registration fee)
How it works
• All cyclists whether entered as an a solo rider or a team of 2, 4, 6 or 8 must be accompanied by their own back-up team in a suitable vehicle with 2 drivers minimum. The purpose of this back-up team is to direct and support their cyclists on the road and ensure they are safe. This additional element introduces strategic planning, team-work, safety and a competitive spirit.
• Greenrock sets the route and establishes 6 check points (2 in the UK and 4 in France) which will be manned with first aiders, mechanics, food and drink. All teams and cyclists have to visit these check points and sign in before carrying on.
• Teams cycle to Paris through the night following the route and checking in at all check points as quickly as possible to win one of the many prizes to be awarded in Paris at the Sunday brunch.

• A package will be offered including ferry crossing, accommodation in Paris for 1 night, Greenrock support at check points, maps, all event & promotional literature, decals, event cycling shirt and Sunday brunch
