What a way to spend a weekend! Greenrock’s new 24-hour(ish) event from London to Paris sets the cyclists off on Friday night, they ride non-stop from London to Portsmouth, rest and relax on the ferry to Le Havre then ride non-stop again to Paris, arriving in the City of Love on Saturday evening. No need to take time off work, and you’re back at home on Sunday evening! This trip is far more comfortable for cyclists, with a more cycle-friendly UK route, a large section of Voie Verte (car-free bike path, as above) in France and less hills and mileage.
